Hi,

We are an english family living in Qatar. I have two children Noah 8 and Bella 6 and they are bilingual french and english and attend the lycée français in Doha. I have a medical condition called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome which prevents me from looking after my children alone and I can no longer drive. We are looking for a very special person or couple who is flexible and uses their initiative around the home.

rise with children at 6.30 help them get ready for school give them breakfast make their packed snack for school then somedays when husband leaves early take them to school for 7.30am. Household duties clean up after breakfast make sure the children's rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy, laundry grocery shopping and help the mother organise household . Pick children up from school at 1.30 PM give them a healthy light lunch, homework and afternoon activities help them integrate into the french speaking community in Doha (Who are also english speaking). Being a good cook will be invaluable as due to my illness cooking is very difficult for me so we are looking for someeone who will cook the evening meal for the whole family and if I am at home at lunch time also provide my meal. Other cooking requirements would be occasional entertaining . Occasional babysitting and filling in mothers role when I travel abroad for medical attention (France and belgium). Travel with family during holidays if required. France, Greece, Istanbul.

The nanny will be willing energetic and experienced, someone who is active and enjoys sporting activities with the children and who can provide quiet educational activities also. Somebody who is warm and has a caring nature and is not high maintenace. The nanny must be willing to work in both sole charge and shared with the mother care situations. A clean driving licence and experienced driving skills on both sides of the road are important.

PA/Driver to mother:

As I can no longer drive I am looking for someone with a caring nature who can help me with day to day living, thigs that I find difficult. This changes due to the changing nature of my condition. It could be things like  coming on shopping trips with me or alone, being responsible for organising medical appointments, taking the dog for a walk, taking the dog to the vets, if I am downstairs getting my glasses from my room, taking care of my clothes/ washing/dry cleaning/ ironing etc. You can find out more about my condition at www.ehlers-danlos.org  I don’t need personal care or nursing just someone who cares as I need help with most things small to large.

We live in a large detached villa in the west bay, swimming pool and lovely big garden. We have a lovely golden retriever puppy.  We also have a live in house boy who keeps the house and garden clean . My family also live in doha and spend time with us frequently. We are caring and warm to people we have in our home and expect the same in return. You must have a clean valid driving licence and be a confident driver on both sides of the road.
